A notable item can be unwound for 150 coils and is the most efficient way to buy coils.
€0.08 for 150 coils = €5.33 for 10,000 coils
€0.09 for 150 coils = €6 for 10,000 coils
100,000 coils = €60
Don’t buy featured items for more than €0.09 or $ per item if you want to buy stuff packs! It might not be cheaper. Not all item packs are cheaper when purchased this way!

Rarities – the rarity of the item
Price – Average lowest market price of items (check date in table)
Unravel – how many coils we get when we unravel an object
Price ratio – how much it costs to get 1000 coils if we unpack the listed item at the listed price.

Formula: price * (1000 / unravel) = price ratio
Cost – the price of the item on the market
1000 – the number of coils
Unravel – how many coils we get from the unraveled item
Price ratio – in this case, the price for 1000 coils
Guide
1. Open the Market game
Select Don’t Starve Together in your game library and click Market.
2. Sort the cheapest items
Click on Show Advanced options
Sort by rarity > distinguish
3. Buy the cheapest items for €0.09 / $0.09 or less
4. Open the game and unravel the item for 150 reels
5. Craft your desired items or packs! (SAVE MONEY)
Take this bundle for example, it costs €3.29 and contains 10 notable items. When we compare the purchase price and the cost of coils:
10 x 450 = 4500 coils (how many coils to weave items in the package)
4500 / 150 = 30 (we need to untangle 30 significant items to weave the whole deck)
30 x €0.09 = €2.70 (To match all items will cost us €2.70 vs paying €3.29, that’s 18% cheaper than if we paid for the bundle!)
This was something I did when I was still playing and collecting skins, I considered supporting this rudimentary guide, and most importantly… Don’t starve!
