How To Keep Your Grocery Stockers Moving In Supermarket Simulator – The grocery stocker/customer AI crashes when changes are made to the stock tag while the store is open and running, or when you forget to save and reload the game after making changes.
How To Keep Your Grocery Stockers Moving In Supermarket Simulator
After pulling my hair out with this bug for a long time I got into a routine to avoid it and thought I’d share my tips as I see many new players struggle with how to deal with it.
Labeling shelves/racks
For grocers to place the goods where they want, it is necessary to add stock labels to the shelves.
A stock label is created when you place inventory on a shelf or rack in a warehouse.Your grocers can also create stock labels on shelves in warehouses if:
1. They are empty;
2. They have no stock tag; and
3. They may use unmarked racks.
Eventually, you will need to make changes to the shelves and racks (stock labels) as the store grows.
Changing a warehouse requires you to remove the old warehouse label (which you can only do when the shelf is empty), either by clicking or by adding another warehouse.
Work Around
DO NOT make stock tag changes while the store is open. Price changes are fine.
You have to close the trade, press “ENTER” to end the day and then you can make changes.
When you’re done, you have to save the game, exit the menu, and reload.
